Results & Reporting Information

Image Interpretation

QT Scan examinations are interpreted by qualified radiologists who have completed specialized QT Imaging training for Breast Acoustic CT™ image review and integration into clinical workflow. QT Imaging provides a structured training program that includes lectures, self-assessments, and extensive case review to support competency in interpretation.

Imaging Data & Reporting

QT Scan studies generate native 3D volumetric breast images, including quantitative imaging data and biomarker maps. Images are produced in DICOM format and can integrate with PACS and other imaging workflows.

Results Delivery

Final radiology reports are provided to the referring provider and become part of the patient's imaging record. Report delivery methods may include secure electronic transmission, PACS integration, secure email, fax, or other approved methods established with the referring office.

Follow-Up Recommendations

Radiologists may recommend additional breast imaging or clinical follow-up when appropriate. Recommendations should be considered alongside the patient's history, physical examination, prior imaging, and current breast imaging guidelines.

Correlation With Other Imaging

QT Imaging is designed to complement the breast imaging ecosystem and supports correlation with:

  • Mammography

  • Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography)

  • Ultrasound

  • Breast MRI

QT Imaging's software platform is designed to allow comparison across imaging modalities and over time.

Important Clinical Information

The QT Breast Scanner is FDA-cleared for breast imaging but is not currently cleared as a replacement for screening mammography. Mammography remains the current standard of care for routine breast cancer screening.
